Maine State Conference of Advent Christian Churches DuBois Scholarship

What’s Offered (Package) / Guidelines

This scholarship is given in loving memory of Rev. Wendell DuBois, Tammy DuBois and Virgene Hughes. It is designed to assist those seeking a call to vocational ministry in achieving their academic goals.

The scholarship monies will be disbursed during the 2nd Semester of the academic year.

Qualification / Eligibility Requirements

Preference will be given to:

• Those attending an Advent Christian Church in the Maine State Conference.
• Those who are sensing a call to ministry.
• Those who are in need of financial assistance.
• Those seeking to attend a Christian College.

Application Procedure

• All application materials must be received by June 30 to be considered.
• Application must include the following:
  • Application must be completed in full.
  • Evidence of personal faith must be shown through written testimony.
  • Pastoral recommendation.
  • Copy of most recent transcripts.

Scholarship Amount

Scholarship amount will be determined based on number of applicants and available funds.
