On Saturday, March 28, Advent Christian General Conference held its first Spring Fling. Despite the rainy weather, it was a fun and successful event. There were 10 churches that participated in displaying homemade crafts, singing, serving food and other activities. Even more churches were represented in attendance.

We began the day with prayer and a welcome from Ron Thomas. The halls upstairs and downstairs were lined with baked goods, church cook books, candy, plants, wood crafts, the Piecemakers quilted purses, homemade centerpieces and pampering products.

IF Update - April 1, 2009

It would be nice if life was a straight line, but that’s not the way it is. Life is full of curves and unexpected turns. The interesting thing is that finding meaning in life is often found in the curves and not the straight path.

I am realizing that although I would prefer to miss some of the curves in my life, that in doing so, I would also miss what God has in store for me.

The country and Christians in it suffered horribly. Many died, some hid in the jungle and many fled to Ghana.
