A Word From Our Executive Director - March 11, 2009 |
 Greetings From Your National Offices
Just a few weeks ago, the Executive Council met in Charlotte. Among those attending was Rev. David Davis who was appointed to complete the unexpired term as Member at Large, previously held by Rev. Warren Conary. I thought it might be informative as well as insightful to hear about our meetings from someone who experienced them for the first time. Click on the link to read about David’s orientation to the Executive Council. We have an excellent official board that takes their appointment seriously. They are engaged in the matters that define our presence in the world and determine our future. It’s a privilege to work with these dedicated servants of Christ. |

IF Update - March 11, 2009 |
Hello, my name is Sam Warren and I’m a “readaholic.” That’s right; I am addicted to reading and have been for most of my life. Perhaps, it’s due to the experience I had in Bible College and Seminary when, if a person did not read, he or she would be in serious trouble. In a sense, I developed an ability to read, and to read quickly, out of necessity. I often joke with people about the fact that my wife gets a little nervous when I approach a golf store, computer store and, lastly and most often, a bookstore. I love to roam around a bookstore, aimlessly looking for that one book that calls out to me . . . read me!
