IF Update - March 4, 2009 |
 The other day as I was driving in my car, I noticed a sign on the back of a truck that caught my attention. For what it’s worth, I see many signs during my trips around the country, but this one made a strong impact on me. As I tell this story right now, I can’t actually remember the nature of the company mentioned on the truck, but I do remember the caption. It was simple, yet clear. Here it is: “Fostering Friendships, Producing Success” was all it said, but I have not been able to get this out of my mind. The thought behind the statement seems clear, but let me tell you what I think it meant. |

While the accumulation isn’t much when compared to the record-breaking snows many of you have experienced, Charlotte was paralyzed for most of the day. But we endured the elements, waded through the drifts and fought the howling winds to be at our posts. We were open for business. |

WEST VIRGINIA
A “CHOCOLATE BOUTIQUE” event happened at the Princeton AC Church last Saturday, February 28. Twenty ladies gathered to participate in the inspirational study of the very first miracle that Jesus performed. The day included singing, teaching, tasting and a craft, along with a salad luncheon. The chocolate was a delight but even more so was the connection with each other and with our Lord. |
