A Word From Our Executive Director - March 3, 2010 |
It has been a most impressive response by our Advent Christian family and friends as the plea for help came from the people of Haiti. To date, we have sent more than $34,000 through World Vision® to address the needs of those who survived the devastating earthquake that shook their whole country on January 12, 2010. Even as there is still the enormous task of relief and recovery of the poorest nation in the western hemisphere, we were stunned by the news of an 8.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Chile on February 27, claiming nearly 800 lives. Just as we did for Haiti, we will be directing any gifts designated for relief efforts associated with Chile through World Vision. |

Announcements and Upcoming Events - March 3, 2010 |
Harbinger Bible Conference 2010 Rally Dates
Come experience Christ with us!
Located in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire, this camp was founded as a faith-work in the early 1970s. It was created as a place where other Christians could come to rest and spend time with the Lord with no concern about the cost, and the camp still operates with that same faith.
Contact us to come to a weekend rally and stay in one of our guestrooms, bring a trailer or camp in a tent. Once you experience the love and fellowship at Harbinger we know that you will want to keep coming back again and again.
Spring Rally, May 20 – 23
Speaker – Rev. Earl “Pete” Waterman, Nova Scotia
Summer Rally, July 22 – 25
Speaker – Rev. Lou Going, Whitefield, N.H.
Fall Rally, September 23 – 26
Speaker – Rev. Gary Williams, Milford, N.H.
Make your reservations early. Space is limited.

IF Update - March 3, 2010 |
I have the opportunity to travel throughout the United States, and I find myself in a variety of driving situations. It’s not so much that I can’t navigate in these areas, but more that I never know what to expect. For example, one day, while driving near Chicago, IIlinois, I exited the highway only to find that I did not have the exact change for the toll. My decision turned out to cost me a $40 fine for an 80 cent toll. I must admit that I don’t understand how one (from out of town) can know in advance what a toll will be, especially if you’re not told. Add to this the fact that there was no one there to provide change. |
