Women’s conference poster with Gloria Sanchez – conference president and pastor of the Iglesia Nueva Esperanza (New Hope)

News from Outreach Ministries in Latin America

MEXICO

Pastora Gloria Sanchez is the guest preacher for a women’s conference to be held on April 13 in Ensenada. Pastora Gloria was elected in December to lead the Mexican Conference. Her gifts as an evangelist and speaker are well-known in the Ensenada area. She represents us and our Lord well!

A conference-wide men’s retreat was held on March 9 with about 40 men attending. The theme was Men of Honor. The retreat was held at the church of Pastor Jaime Sandoval, “Iglesia Torre de Salvación (Tower of Salvation Church),” south of Ensenada proper.

                Oscar and Dina with family

HONDURAS

Oscar and Dina’s family has gone through a critical time recently. First, Oscar needed to find work. Then, their son Luis Mario’s white blood count dropped dangerously low because of Hemorrhagic Fever (worst form of Dengue Fever). He spent time in the hospital. Because of our gracious God, tons of prayers and medical intervention, his white blood count began climbing. We join Oscar and Dina in rejoicing that Luis is now back home and out of danger. Oscar volunteers with Cristo Salva and is a member of the church in Pinelejo.

Remember in prayer the ministry team heading to Honduras on April 22 – 29.

Ministry leader Ray Marco has missed the last two trips to Honduras due to chemotherapy treatments, but he and his wife Ledy are planning to go on the April trip.

If you are interested in having a life changing experience that will challenge you to be a servant for life and will let God minister to you and through you in Honduras, then consider signing up for one of the scheduled ministry trips throughout the year.
