Big Idea Groups

Big Idea Groups are a new effort of the office of student ministry. In correspondence with the mission of ACGC, the goal of these groups is to gather student ministry leaders together to encourage, equip, and empower one another toward maximum impact in kids’ ministry

The goal is to have these local groups meet 2 to 3 times per year for approximately 3 to 4 hours. Led by a facilitator, the participants will spend time networking, discussing ministry ideas, and sharing the high’s and low’s involved with local church kids’ ministry.

If you have any interest in starting a Big Idea Group in your area, or would like more information, contact our kids’ ministry coordinator, Matt Larkin, at You can download the brochure for Big Idea Groups by clicking  HERE.

LEAD Teams are, from a student ministry prospective, currently only available to paid youth & kids’ pastors and women in kids’ ministry. LEAD Teams are groups of pastors, pastors' wives or women in ministry who make a commitment to spend time together on a regular basis so they can do life together. Each participant understands that ministry in the local church cannot only be rewarding but tremendously challenging. By intentionally joining together with others on a regular basis they are able to become part of a group that meets a deep need: the need to talk and share their lives with people they trust and people who understand what they are going through.
