Consultation & Training
Our student ministries coordinator and the members of our student ministry commission are available upon request to teach, put on training events, and consult with local churches about student ministry. If you have any interest in training or consultation for your local church, conference, or region, contact our student ministry coordinator, Matt Larkin at email@example.com.
E3 Cohorts are a new effort of the office of student ministry. The 3 “E’s” are encourage, equip, and empower, which comes directly from the mission statement of Advent Christian General Conference. The goal of these groups is to gather student ministry leaders together to encourage, equip, and empower one another toward maximum impact in student ministry.
The goal is to have these local groups meet 2 to 3 times per year for approximately 3 to 4 hours. Led by a facilitator, the participants will spend time networking, discussing ministry ideas, and sharing the high’s and low’s involved with local church student ministry.
If you have any interest in starting an E3 Cohort in your area, or would like more information, contact our student ministry coordinator, Matt Larkin at firstname.lastname@example.org.

LEAD Teams are, from a student ministry prospective, currently only available to paid youth pastors and women in youth ministry. LEAD Teams are groups of pastors, pastors’ wives or women in ministry who make a commitment to spend time together on a regular basis so they can do life together. Each participant understands that ministry in the local church cannot only be rewarding but tremendously challenging. By intentionally joining together with others on a regular basis they are able to become part of a group that meets a deep need: the need to talk and share their lives with people they trust and people who understand what they are going through.
