2024 Eastern Region Convention

The Eastern Regional Association (ERA) held their annual convention October 25-26 at Blessed Hope Advent Christian Church in Waterville, Maine. ERA president Rev. George Karl presided over the two days of meetings, workshops, fellowship and worship.

Friday morning, Rev. Andy Rice, president of the Berkshire Institute for Christian Studies (BICS), preached a message from 2 Corinthians Chapter 4 examining the relationship between our suffering in this life and our hope of eternity with Christ. One quote Rev. Rice shared captured the main idea well, “There is nothing wrong with me that a good resurrection can’t fix.” The afternoon session was comprised of a regional business meeting and two workshop blocks.
