KENYA – Mercy Orphanage Home in Kisii, Kenya has, as last reported, a total of 72 orphans. When not at school, they all share in different activities to maintain their home. Apart from cleaning and gardening, they participate in the various choirs led by their pastor and director of the orphanage Samuel Ondieki. After rehearsals, the older ones walk down the hill to a river where they get water. One must appreciate their discipline and skill as they carefully balance the barrels on their heads for the return trek.
