PHILIPPINES – During the month of March, God was working among those involved with Agape House Mati and one of its key ministries: the Christian Academy in Davao Oriental Technical Colleges Inc. (CANDORTCI). Rowena Cabrizos, co-founder and director of Agape House Worldwide, was required to step up and take on a few additional responsibilities with CANDORTCI due to the passing of the school principal in February.

CANDORTCI is an accredited vocational college with additional K-12 education located at the Agape House compound in Mati. To maintain accreditation in the Philippines, CANDORTCI hosted a visit from the national Department of Education (DEPED) during the third week of March. Rowena flew from Japan to the Philippines to be present and represent school leadership.

Praise God, the national DEPED inspection was done on March 21, and the school did very well. As Rowena reports, “the school was applauded!”
