New Hope Requests Facebook Follows
ILLINOIS – Greetings from Aurora, IL! Our new Advent Christian (AC) church is requesting your assistance. Please visit our website at Newhopeacc.org and click on the Facebook icon in the bottom right corner. This will take you to the new Facebook page for our growing church, New Hope Advent Christian Church of Aurora.
We would like to begin livestreaming our services, but we need at least 100 followers for that to be possible, as per Facebook’s requirements, along with the page being active for 60 days. If you’re willing to be one of our initial followers, it would greatly help us get started.
We are only 18 months old and were officially accepted into the AC denomination in March. We are thrilled to have moved into a larger space and to have a full roster of fall ministries up and running.
Please keep us in your prayers, and if you’re willing to follow us, it would provide much-needed encouragement and help expand our Kingdom work. Thank you so much for considering our invitation!
Advent Christian Village Annual Meeting
FLORIDA – The annual delegate meeting of the Advent Christian Village, Inc., will be held Friday, November 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., in the Bixler Memorial Chapel, Dowling Park, Florida. Each conference which is a member of the Advent Christian General Conference is a member of the corporation and entitled to one delegate for each one hundred members or major fractional part. Conferences are invited to send delegates to this meeting. Each delegate should present duly authorized credentials from the appointing conference.

Village Church Hiring Minister of Pastoral Care
FLORIDA – The Village Church at Advent Christian Village in Dowling Park, FL is seeking a fulltime Minister of Pastoral Care to join its pastoral team. In addition to the open position, the pastoral team includes the Senior Pastor, Minister to Youth and Families, and Minister of Music and Christian Education.
The role of the Minister of Pastoral Care is to provide personal ministry to the church family and the Advent Christian Village Community. This care includes hospital and home visitation, counseling, and grief care. This person works with the pastoral staff in the overall ministry of the church family, focused on pastoral leadership within specific ministry groups.

ERA Convention Scheduled
The annual Eastern Regional Convention will be held on Friday, October 25 and Saturday October 26 at the Blessed Hope Advent Christian Church, Waterville, Maine. The theme for the convention is: “The Gospel for Today: Making Our Methods and Message Relevant.” The following speakers have thus far been confirmed: Rev. Justin Nash, ACGC executive director and Ryan Goding, executive director of Anchor New England. Ryan was a speaker at last year’s convention and will challenge us again in the area of apologetics. More speakers and worship leaders will be announced as they are confirmed.
Registration will be $25. The meal plan will be $40 which will include continental breakfasts on Friday and Saturday mornings, Friday lunch and Friday evening banquet. Lodging has been confirmed with the Fireside Inn, Waterville for $116/ night. Exhibit tables are available at $25. Registration links will be made available soon.
