Aurora University Students Serve for Spring Break

ILLINOIS – Aurora University Chaplain Mark Woolfington led one of two mission trips sponsored by the Wackerlin Center for Faith and Action during Aurora University’s spring break.

Students, faculty and staff volunteered at Good Works, in Athens, Ohio, a faith-based organization which serves the rural poor of Athens County. AU visited Good Works in 2019 and 2020.

AU students also visited Cross Roads Mission in Louisville, Kentucky. Projects included service with Habitat for Humanity, and at Stormhaven Youth Ranch, which provides equine therapy for children who have experienced trauma.
