Baptism at Family Bible Church, Pastor Ludwick Celebrates 35 Years

NEW HAMPSHIRE – It was a beautiful day for a baptism, as family and friends at Family Bible Church gathered after the worship service last Sunday to celebrate the baptism of Alexis Buttrick. Alexis shared that she had come to faith in Christ as a child but had never had a good opportunity to be baptized. Alexis’ husband Josh has been a part of Family Bible Church for a long time. But Alexis has been involved for only about a year. When the opportunity for baptism was presented to the church by Pastor Steve Ludwick, Alexis jumped at the chance.

In addition, last Sunday was the 35th anniversary of Pastor Steve’s tenure at Family Bible Church. He shared some memories of how the Lord led him and his wife Cindy to come to the church long ago. He gave credit to the church for adopting a sabbatical policy for their pastor, saying that the sabbaticals have greatly contributed to the longevity of his pastorate. In fact, Pastor Steve will be embarking on a three-month sabbatical this week. We thank the Lord for dedicated servants of the Lord such as Pastor Steve and Cindy.
