Baptisms and Ground Breaking in Mexico

From John Gilbert, Latin America Area Director

MEXICO – The ”Torre de Salvacion” (Tower of Salvation) church celebrated the baptism of five of their church attendees from the community. They are a direct result of the feeding program which ACGC and the “Bread of Life” program help support. I personally like the way Pastor Jaime escorts each person to and from the water as he walks them between church members as they clap and sing. The baptisms took place in the Pacific Ocean just south of Ensenada. Pastor Jaime Sandoval and his wife Tere report that they have more young people currently taking pre-baptism classes.

Pastor Marcos and his wife Gloria, are at it again. The “Nueva Esperanza” (New Hope) church recently broke ground on a new outreach location. The picture shows step one, the septic tank. They are excited to expand the Lord’s work in a new development Northeast of Ensenada proper between two existing developments. They have been visiting the area for several months and are discovering an interest in the Lord.
