Baptisms in Thailand
THAILAND – In February, a young woman by the name of Jiranan “Gungking” Phanomjaroenkit, was baptized in Thailand in the Mekong River. Gungking is the niece of Pohn Yoon, and she has been a part of CMN ministries in Thailand for 15 years.
She accepted Christ as her savior back in June 2023, and was finally baptized! A close friend and mentor, Pastor Thawil, had the privilege of performing this sacrament with Gungking.
When Russel and Pohn Yoon visited Thailand back in June 2023, they also had the privilege of participating in the baptisms of two other young people who were a part of CMN ministries – Wariya “Job” Sensorn and Tippamas “Guitar” Keerus.
Job, Guitar and Gungking have been learning and growing in their faith over the past year, and we are so grateful for the care that Russel and Pohn Yoon have shown these young believers even in their brief visits to Thailand.
We praise the Lord that these three new believers have taken this next step in their faith journeys! We welcome them to the family of God and embrace them with joy and celebration.
