Baptisms in the Pacific Ocean in Mexico

MEXICO – At the Torre de Salvación (Tower of Salvation) church, part of our Mexican Advent Christian conference, conducted 10 baptisms in the Pacific Ocean. All 10 new believers completed a course in “What it means to be a Christian.” This course was led by Pastor Ildefonzo Carrillo Jaquez. He also leads the “Caras Feliz” (Happy Faces) feeding program, which is funded by the WHFMS “Bread of Life” fund. Pastor Ildefonzo is blind, and yet shepherds his flock faithfully by listening to the Bible on tape or read aloud by his wife. He has memorized great portions of Scripture, and preaches faithfully the Word of God to make new disciples and lead them into the waters of baptism. Celebrate with our brothers and sisters in Mexico, and pray for these new believers as they grow in their faith.
