Blakes Chapel (NC) Connects with India

INDIA – Our Asia Pacific Area Director (APAD) facilitated a meeting with Indian pastors from the Fellowship of Blessed Hope Churches in India. Missionary Immanuel, who ministers in Chennai, also attended. The goal of this meeting was to connect with the pastors to discern needs and challenges and celebrate victories. The International Missions Department has been working to use technology to bridge the gap between churches stateside and churches beyond our borders. Using Zoom, Pastor Steve Spearing from Blakes Chapel AC Church was able to join and share a biblical devotion with our Indian pastors. This kind of connection is extremely important as we work to build support for global missions. Here are a few updates from the meeting:

Reggi Christopher – Reggi was unable to join us because his diabetic father had a stroke and is in serious condition in the hospital.

A. Jerald – Police are monitoring church properties against attendance. One church member with the virus has been terminated by his employer as a result.

Mahesh Macrios – Mahesh Macrios desires to find a property on which to build a church at one of his village ministry locations.

T. Daniel – 500 miles from Chennai, T. Daniel has a family waiting for the opportunity to be baptized.

Solomon Rajan – Solomon Rajan’s church joins together daily between 5:00-6:00 a.m. for a teleconference prayer time.

Paul Selvin – Paul Selvin’s church has seven attenders with the virus including a family of four, and a 5-year-old girl named Biomini who is in ICU right now.
