Bread of Life Ministry in Mexico
MEXICO – The Pan de Vida, or Bread of Life ministry is a vital part of the ministries in Mexico. Pastor Miguel of the Advent Christian Conference of Mexico sends greetings and sincere thanks on behalf of all those the Bread of Life ministry has affected in such a marvelous way. See how the Bread of Life ministry has demonstrated love in so many communities below. These events have all taken place in recent months.
Bread of Life demonstrating love in La Paz, Baja California Sur. This was an opportunity to feed the children in the communities of the two church plants there in order to grow the outreach of the churches.
Bread of Life demonstrating love in the communities of our church plant in Sinaloa. Food was distributed to the families who were displaced out of their homes because of the increased cartel violence. These people now live in a rancho-style community. The food money went a long way toward helping this group of people feel loved as well as providing food for a couple of group activities to ease the pain of their new-normal lifestyle of being displaced from their cartel-ridden streets.
Bread of Life demonstrating love in Ensenada. These are two breakfast events for children in Ensenada. These events helped to feed malnourished children in the communities around these two churches and offered opportunities to speak into the lives of the children’s families.
The Pan de Vida (Bread of Life) donations greatly assist the pastors in promoting the church family within their communities by feeding the children of their communities and creating pathways of presenting the gospel to not only the children, but also their families. As you might know, the Hispanic culture is built upon family gatherings around food. The culture goes further in accepting larger groups such as church members as family when they all meet and share food together.
