TANZANIA – Pastors and their wives will come to a conference Dec. 17-20.  They will assemble at Kisesa in Mwanza Region.  The main theme is Pastoral Ministry and Marriage.  African women have long been regarded as property that a man obtains by giving a dowry.  The church in Tanzania will have seminars that teach biblical partnership in the household and in ministry.

Also on the agenda:

1. Book Discussion – Through the Pastors’ Library Fund books were provided for the pastors to read prior to this convention.  Discussion groups will assemble to glean from one another the teachings of the books. 
2. Open-Air Evangelism – On two successive evenings crusade evangelism will take place in the center of the city.   
3. Guest Pastors – On the last day local pastors from other denominations will be invited for the preaching of the Word and for fellowship.
