THAILAND- Christian Mission ban Naratchakwai (CMN) is an Advent Christian mission church established about 20 years ago by the late Dr. John Middlewood, an independent AC missionary. John and his Thai wife Maeo focused their energies on reaching out to the surrounding communities through English instruction programs and assistance with practical needs. Over the years, these efforts have continued with a concentration on reaching and developing children and young people in following Christ. Today a ministry team, many of whom are teens and young adults, provide leadership for CMN’s ministries. CMN shares Christ’s love and hope with the people of northeast Thailand known as the Isan. The Isan are a large unreached people. Nearly all Isan are Buddhists. But through patient love for Christ and love for their community CMN has seen a number of young people come to faith in Christ and some families seek to follow him.
