CMN Uses Downtime to Advance Music and Building

Update from Ploy

THAILAND – The church has been closed since April 18, 2021 until now because of a new surge of COVID-19 in the country. We plan to open the church again on the June 1, 2021 if it’s possible. While the church is closed, we have not stopped praying. We use an online application to do a video call every Sunday to meet and greet and pray together. We are happy to know that everybody is fine but we are sad that our brothers and sisters in Christ are experiencing a lot of problems in each country. We are praying hard for all of you. We wish everything will be better than before.

Noi teaches music to church members

Our members are practicing the music instruments with Noi. He said, “During the time that I am alive, I would like to share my music skills with the members.” Noi is one of Maeo’s younger brothers. The music of the worship songs in our church was recorded by Noi, Dtee and Moo 10 years ago and we use them in our church and share with the other churches until now. The Bible story pictures that hang on the church’s wall were painted by Noi and Moo. Now, Kaopun is studying to play the guitar with Noi, Lita is studying to play a drum set with Dtee and Noi and I’m studying to play bass with Noi too. Please pray for us. And we are  looking for someone to study keyboard. I hope we can play beautiful worship songs at CMN someday.

We could not update anything much on the Facebook page because the province doesn’t allow people to come to meet and greet each other in one place especially schools, pubs, bars, temples, churches and even restaurants. So, every weekend, the main members come to practice the worship songs and record videos and share in group to encourage to our members who could not come to meet us.

Church gathers to improve facilities

Thank God that last weekend, we came to church and helped each other clean the toilets, scrubbed the painting stains off and wash. Noi painted the color the next day. We got the new toilets! Thank God.

And also thank God for the steel cage that separates the front of the church’s building. We used the old steel door to make the cage and Noi painted it. It looks new! Thank God for everything.

We invite you to follow our Facebook page here.

We hope you enjoy reading our update.

God bless you.

Love,

Ploy, from Christian Mission Naratchakwai, Thailand.
