Construction Begins on Kenyan Orphanage Dorms

KENYA – COVID-19 recently had heavily affected the residents of Mercy Orphanage Home in Kenya. No fewer than five children were hospitalized while others were quarantined at home. The Kenyan government remains concerned that the dorms that were constructed only 18 months ago are not ventilated well enough to prohibit this fast-spreading disease. The government has therefore granted 500,000 Kenyan shillings (approximately $4,200) for the construction of dormitories to meet their own specifications. Construction already has begun. Let’s pray for its successful completion. Pictured is the beginning of construction on the orphanage.
