Demons Exorcised at Tanzanian Church Service

TANZANIA – Our family in Tanzania continually is confronted by Satanic power. It is so frequent that it is now expected. The enemy of God seems not to run out of weapons to use against them, but these weapons serve only to show the mighty power of God.

Pastor Johnson Odoyo on Sunday, March 14 had three visitors come to the worship service. They stood and introduced themselves as born-again Christians. They were given a warm greeting and further requested to address the congregation, but they were not permitted to do so. They were kindly told that although they were most welcome to join the worship service they were as yet unknown. If they showed future involvement there would come a time when they would be permitted to address the assembly. It soon became apparent what a wise move this was.

The visitors were noticeably uncomfortable whenever there was a song lifted to the Lord, but the discomfort continued to grow with the developing consciousness of the presence of God among them. If anyone did not notice the state of the visitors earlier, no one missed it when the church began to pray. Together the body of Christ spoke out their prayers to God with many voices yet as with one voice. The discomfort the visitors were feeling quickly worsened as they threw themselves onto the floor and began writhing like snakes. Darkness could not hide from God’s light. The prayers of the people now were all directed toward the needs of these three visitors as the leadership of the church successfully drove out the evil spirits.

They laid down their charms and fetishes as they professed Christ, surrendering to the greater power, the only true God. Did the visitors receive in truth the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord? Time will tell, but they were granted a period of freedom to do so. Once again, God warded off the sneak attacks of the devil and set the captives free.
