In Dylan’s words: “MTI provided a platform to learn, grow and step into spiritual leadership and responsibility. My program provided a mentor with whom I could talk about my classes. I was challenged and placed in an environment where I could bounce ideas off others, journey with my church community and grow in my prayer time with God. I learned a lot about myself: how selfish I can be, how much pride I had, and how challenging life can be when pursuing ministry. 

“In addition to theology, I was able to put biblical knowledge into everyday application. I was able to have real, in person conversations with mentors, other students and even strangers about God and my faith. I learned that my desire to teach the Bible … stemmed from a deep desire to help others grow in their life with God. I could not shake the delightful pursuit of becoming a future shepherd/pastor of God’s people. If I went back in time I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!”
