Eastern Region Pastors and Church Leaders Event

The Eastern Regional Association (ERA) and the Maranatha Conference co-sponsored an event for pastors and church leaders at the Alton Bay Christian Retreat Center (altonbay.org) in Alton Bay, New Hampshire on May 7-9. More than 40 people attended the event. Chris Date of the ministry Rethinking Hell (rethinkinghell.com) and the host of the Theopologetics YouTube show and podcast taught on “How I Became a Conditionalist” followed by a Q&A session with the conference attendees. He also presented on “A Positive Case for Conditionalism,” “Responses to Traditionalism and Universalism” and “Conditionalism’s Standing within Biblical Evangelicalism.”

ACGC Executive Director Justin Nash presented on “Why Every Pastor Needs a Mentor” followed by a panel discussion on the topic led by ERA interim-superintendent Rev. Clayton Blackstone. Justin also taught a session entitled “The Biblical Case for Church Membership” followed by a Q&A time led by Rev. Lou Going.  Rev. Derek Irvine of the Restoration Network moderated a panel discussion with Rev. Tom Loghry, Chris Date and Rev. Lou Going on “The Place of Conditionalism in the Theological Life of the Advent Christian Denomination.” This panel discussion also included Q&A with the audience. Rev. Joshua Brown and Rev.
