Efren Miranda Installs New Church Leaders and Sees Believers Baptized

PHILIPPINES – Efren Miranda, bishop (equivalent to superintendent among American Advent Christians) of the Philippines AC Conference recently reported on his trip to Calinan, an area about 100 miles south of Cagayan de Oro City. Calinan is on the outskirts of Davao City and is home to Riverside Christian Fellowship. Before they could travel, Efren and his wife had to secure necessary papers to cross regional borders due to virus travel protocols. When they arrived, however, it was worth it, for he was able to install the newly elected members of the church board of trustees.

In the afternoon, they were privileged to accompany the Senior Pastor Benjie Ragas who with his Associate and Outreach Pastor Dorem Nebreja baptized 15 new believers at the outreach situated five kilometers from the main church. Please pray for these new believers and for the Christians that will be leading them in their new life in Christ. Efren reports that God is moving mightily through the Philippine AC Conference even during a time in which the pandemic has threatened to paralyze church ministry.
