It has been a tough two years going through the pandemic but things are moving forward. We have continued to build the MTI program and will see graduates from the full three-and-a-half-year program next summer.

Our providing Natural Church Development (NCD) assessments has slowed since visiting churches and assessing needs has been limited. As things have opened up, we have resumed work with churches using NCD. Beyond that, Director Justin Nash has other tools to help churches become healthier and realize their biblical roles in serving members and communities for the kingdom of God. Home Missions work was also limited during the pandemic, but we are moving forward in hiring a new coordinator to work with our conferences and regions to find church planters and to identify locations to plant new churches. Please pray for God to guide us as we seek to further the kingdom and reach new communities through church planting and healthier churches.

International Missions has begun planning mission trips and continues to work with our partners around the world. The need for missionaries to touch unreached people groups continues to broaden and we are working to identify specific areas to reach near our international partners and individuals to send. There are also pockets of unreached people groups in North America that are mission fields right in our back yards.

Please ask God to reveal how you may be involved in ministry and seek ways to serve either in your local church or by being sent to serve as a pastor or missionary. I remember the question being asked at camp and revival: “God is calling you to ministry; how will you answer the call?”
