While I was at Central Region’s triennial, I had the opportunity to catch up with Pastor Mark Woolfington, who serves as pastor of Church of the Highlands in La Grange, Illinois. He also serves as chaplain of Aurora University and has just been named as assistant professor of religion beginning in August. Aurora has a long history with the Advent Christian denomination with many alumni serving in our churches.

Aurora University is located 40 miles west of Chicago with a beautiful campus nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood.
