Western Advent Christian Association Holds Triennial Meetings
The Western Advent Christian Association met at Camp Maranatha in Idyllwild, California last week, October 13-15. Justin Nash, Matt Larkin and I were there from Thursday through Monday to spend time at the conference and join in worship with two of our churches. Rick Qualls, Brad Neil, and Schad and Lisa Russell hosted our time at the conference. The theme of the conference was Church Revitalization. I was blessed to share Friday evening from Ezekiel 37:1-14 about God’s bringing life to “Dry Bones.” Coordinator of Church Planting Dr. Adrian Dixon joined through Zoom to share the development of pathways for planters and churches to begin planting new churches.
On Saturday morning, Justin shared a two-block seminar on “Essential and Critical Ecclesiology for Church Health.” During this time, he shared “Why the Doctrines of the church are critical for Church Health.” We examined three rules for revitalization and eight reasons ecclesiology is critical for church health. It was a blessing to see the leaders relating to these needs for our churches.
President Dave Crimi led the business meeting and we finished up before lunch. Below is a picture of the current offices of the Western Region.
