MTI Leadership Changes

Jack Mumford

A couple of weeks ago, we shared with you the first of some current changes we are undergoing within the MTI leadership team. This week, we want to share with you that field directors Jack Mumford and Joshua Alves will be stepping back from their roles with MTI.

Jack was our first field director hired by Coordinator of Leadership Development Matt Larkin when ACGC’s Department of Leadership Development was formed in 2018. As a result, he served as a key figure in the development of MTI from the very beginning. He has written multiple courses and participated in the development of much of the educational philosophy and policy that undergirds our programs. Jack has been serving our Asian cohort, guiding them through the first two years since the cohort’s launch in January of 2021.

Josh became part of the Department of Leadership Development and MTI team in 2019, and participated a great deal in MTI’s development as well. Josh was the field director launching one of our first two cohorts in Oxford, Massachusetts when MTI launched in 2020. Josh had more recently been serving one of our fully online cohorts that launched in Fall 2022.

While we are saddened to have Jack and Josh step back from their leadership roles, we are very thankful for the work they have done in establishing MTI. We are also very thankful that they both intend to continue their involvement with MTI in other capacities.
