Exponential Orlando 2020

This past week, I spent three days with six other Advent Christian pastors at the Exponential Conference in Orlando, Fla. It was a great conference focusing on church planting with the theme “Together: Pursuing the Great Collaboration.” We gathered with 5,500 church planters, multipliers, denominational leaders, planting partners and supporters. The conference started with a great challenge on working together for kingdom work across denominational, racial and economic lines to win people to Christ. Throughout the three days, we convened in general and breakout sessions with teaching on a wide variety of topics about planning, financing, staffing and many other related topics. We were also blessed with great times of worship together in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church in Orlando. The AC pastors and I had many good times together too as we shared a condo in the area to spend time discussing what we experienced at the conference.

I want to encourage any of you who have the opportunity to attend one of the eight Exponential Conferences scheduled around the United States. You can go to exponential.org to find the locations and register for the event closest to you.

The theme about collaboration supports our Strategic Plan to work together to accomplish the Great Commission and to strive forward in the Great Commandment. These gatherings are great preparation for our Triennial coming up in August, so plan to attend if you get the chance.
