The 2023 Triennial Convention will take place August 7-11 at the Ridgecrest Conference Center in Black Mountain, North Carolina. The registration deadline is less that two months away. You must register by July 15 to attend the convention. Due to security policies at Ridgecrest, there can be no registrations after July 15.

Keynote Speakers for the nightly worship services are Rev. Steve Lawson, Dr. Glenn Rice, Dr. Matt Larkin and Rev. Andy Rice. Featured workshops will be Voices from the Mission Field, The Soul of a Pastor, Finding Leaders in the Local Church and Church Planting & Advent Christians.

We will be having two plenary discussions. One will be a panel discussion on denominational restructuring. The second will be a public discussion with Dr. Debra Nickerson on sexual abuse in the church. There are also tons of great activities for the entire family on the Ridgecrest property and in the surrounding area, including hiking on mountain trails, an onsite game room, basketball and mini golf.       1. The Asheville, NC airport is the closest to Ridgecrest (~30 min. away)
      2. There are Uber, Lyft and taxi services in the area
      3. Because ACGC staff is limited and will be committed to making the event a success, we are not able to offer a shuttle

Triennial Convention Business

Important business will be conducted at the 2023 Triennial Convention August 7-11. Executive Council members will be elected including the president, recording-secretary and member-at-large. A number of important business items will come before the delegate body including changes to the ACGC bylaws, amendment procedures for the Declaration of Principles and the Statement of Faith and the adoption of the Nashville Statement. All items of business or resolution to be brought before the delegate body of General Conference must be submitted to the Business Committee.
