Greetings to everyone! I hope this E-News finds you all safe, well and praising God for bringing us through this very difficult time throughout the world. We here at ACGC continue to strive to support our churches, conferences and regions along with our partners around the world. Currently, most of our staff are working from home as North Carolina has a stay at home order in place, however if you have a need we can help with, please e-mail.

You will see in this E-News, a request about homemade masks for Vernon Homes in Vermont from Director Brad Ellis. Last week we reported that they had received enough masks, but they now request help in supplying masks for residents and support staff. There are directions on how to make these masks in the information. This request is in addition to the Advent Christian Village’s request for help with masks for their residents and staff. Both of these ministries are a part of our denominational family and provide a safe place for retired Christians to live and nursing home facilities for those who need special care. We encourage you help if you are able. Please note the directions about your health and possible exposure to the COVID-19 virus and being careful not to expose others to any sickness.

Some of you have asked questions about financial help during these times. Many of our associate members, regions, conferences and churches have applied for help through the “CARES Act” or the Payroll Protection Plan (PPP). ACGC has researched this and applied for assistance through this program. We want to encourage you to check with your local bank about this assistance so that we may continue to minister to our communities who are facing difficulties during this time. This help should enable us to continue to reach out and minister!
