Berkshire Trustee Meetings and MTI Progress
Meetings have become a way of life for me in this position but now Zoom adds a new slant to going to meetings. The week before last, I participated in three days of Berkshire Christian trustee meetings. A great part of my being in these meetings is that I get to hear what is going on with our associate members of ACGC. We have partnered closely with Berkshire in the MTI Program and it has been encouraging to see how people have gotten excited about training emerging leaders. Coordinator Matt Larkin has been working with both the Central and Appalachian regions to launch two new MTI cohorts beginning in January. Last week Berkshire President Glenn Rice traveled to the Midwest to answer questions and build interest in the program there. Superintendent William Norwood has been working with a number of pastors, emerging leaders and the regional board to get the program started in January of 2021. Rev. Jesse Stevens will be leading the program, working closely with the MTI leadership team.
International Missions Advisory Committee Meetings
This past week, I had the privilege of sitting in on part the International Missions Advisory Committee (IMAC) Zoom meeting. The area directors shared what is happening in their corners of the world and believe me, a lot is happening. These men are excited about what God is doing around the world. God has blessed us as a denomination to be partners with some wonderful ministries that are touching lives. Click here to read more about their meetings. Looking Back
For so many people, 2020 has been difficult year and it has been for ACGC as well. However, God has been so faithful to supply our needs through your consistent giving, even during these ever-changing times. I believe when I look back on my years of ministry, this year will be one that will stand out as a God-empowered time in my life and in our denomination!
God is Good All the Time! Yeah. All the Time God is Good!
