I know we are all excited that 2020 is almost over and that we are looking forward to 2021, but there is one more thing to do this year, annual reports! Filling out reports isn’t always exciting work, and often we put it off until we’re late. But I want to remind you that these reports are important and that we really appreciate your completing them.

At ACGC we not only read your reports, but we also check our database to make sure that we are up-to-date with where all of you are in your ministry. It also provides you a chance to give us feedback on how we are doing and if there are ways we can improve our ministry to you or your churches. It is also important for our churches to fill out the information related to their various ministries. From that information, we have names and contact information for those leading ministries, so we can share ideas and opportunities for training.

For our regions and conferences, the information you share allows them to pull together information for their reports for your conference booklets. Your regional superintendents check over these reports for insight into pastoral needs, ways they can reach out to pastors to help them reach their goals, and to work with the churches to become healthier and more effective in outreach. Again, this is an opportunity for you to share and help your local leadership be more effective in helping churches minister.

Just to let you know, we do see the fun things some of you share and you are not alone! There are a number of you who brighten our day with unique ministry ideas!
