On Wednesday during our chapel, Ron and Jan Thomas shared with us about their recent time at the Hamilton Church in New Zealand. The church has reached out to us over the past few years to send interim pastoral help. Gene and Sandy Peters went last year to serve the first interim pastorate, and Ron and Jan went for 12 weeks to serve the second. Both couples had a great time of ministry with the members of the church.

The Thomases shared about meeting with the New Zealand prayer group that has been supporting our missionaries through prayer for decades of weekly meetings. During their time, Ron and Jan established a number of Bible studies and relationships with various ages groups to encourage and disciple the members. Ron also preached eight times, and Jan was able to minister through her gifts of hospitality and music. Please keep the Hamilton Church in New Zealand in your prayers as they continue to look for pastoral leadership, and for us as we seek to work with them.
