Gbaa Recovers from Coronavirus and Returns to Work

LIBERIA – AC Conference President Moses Gbaa was not reachable for some weeks. The reason for it came to light on Dec. 14 when we learned that he had been stricken with this dreaded pandemic virus. He was required to isolate himself from conference churches and even from his own family. Through the careful attention of his wife Nancy (a registered nurse) his family was spared the infection, and now he is gaining in strength.

Once able, he put himself to the task of visiting churches and pastors under his charge. At each location they would applaud his arrival, sharing a taste of the coming glory when all the saints will be gathered home. He also greeted them on our behalf, knowing that they love to hear from their family in America.

Council meetings have been held over the phone to this point, but they are looking for the day when the virus will break its hold and the government will allow church assemblies of all sorts to operate at full capacity once again. The Annual Convention of the Liberian AC Conference is scheduled for January. This convention has been so very encouraging to all participants that they ask for our prayers to hold it as before. Let’s lift them up.
