Pramila is a 23-year-old Indian Christian whose life has been greatly affected by the ministry of Adda Road Advent Christian Church and Calvary Healing Mountain in Andhra Pradesh, India. Here she tells her story.

“I am from a Christian family, but I was a nominal Christian. About five years back, I was baptized and became a true Christian. By God’s grace, I married a good Christian man. Two months after my marriage, I became pregnant. After I was carrying the baby for six months, the doctor prescribed an ultrasound scan. After the scan, the doctor told me that my baby had some trouble in the womb. My baby had a hole in her heart. It was very dangerous, and the baby may not live. The doctor told me that we must do an abortion because the baby could have many problems. It is not good for you to carry this baby. You must have an abortion. ‘But I have faith. I am a Christian’, I told them. ‘I will carry my baby. I will not have an abortion. It is very sinful to kill a baby!’

“I made a covenant with God and every month I attended prayers on the Calvary Healing Mount. Every month I would come and pray, ‘God, you are a God of miracles. You can change anything. I have faith that you can bring a miracle in my life and change anything in my life. Please touch me. Please help me.’ I used to pray this every day for my baby and for me.”

“I had full faith in God. God can do any miracle in my life even though the doctors said the baby would have many health problems and would probably not live after she was born. When the time came for the delivery, the doctors told me that I could not have a normal labor but would require surgery to deliver the baby. But at that time, I also had faith in God that he could do any miracle in my life.”

“After a few hours, I had a normal delivery without surgery. And my baby had no health issues. Nothing was like what the doctors said. She was a good and very healthy baby.”

“Everyone was stunned. The doctors were astonished. Now I could testify that God made this miracle in my life to have a healthy baby. After the delivery I made a covenant with God that I would tell church members and everyone who prayed for this miracle God did in my life. I am very grateful and thankful for God and the prayers on that mountain, Calvary Healing Mountain. It was only through God answering my prayers that this miracle happened. God is a gracious and faithful God to me.”
