For the second time, the pastors and churches representing the northwestern Mindanao sub-district will serve as host. Bishop Efren G. Miranda expressed his heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for a unified effort of pastors and church leaders to host the 2020 Convention. These leaders come from two churches in Iligan City, another two from Misamis Occidental and one from Zamboanga City. The sub-district expects to host a minimum of 130 participants, which will include PACCI ordained and ministerial license holders and delegates from the local churches.

Maranatha Bible Study Center, an outreach of the MBC-Carmen situated at Tignapoloan, Cagayan de Oro, reports that seven individuals showed their commitment to follow and serve the Lord through water baptism on Sunday, February 2, 2020. This outreach is located 30 minutes away from the mother church and is presently led by Pastor Emmanuel G. Miranda and his wife Delia.

The construction of an AC Conference building, which has been dreamed for so long, has now commenced. It is located at the back of Maranatha Bible Church premises. This will be the first edifice ever to be built by the Philippine AC Conference after many years of dwelling in a small office space provided by Oro Bible College. This two-story building will accommodate the residence and office of the Conference’s overseer on the first floor and provide three guest rooms and a conference room on the second level. The building is expected to be completed in September of this year.
