Introducing Redemption Community Church

By Adrian Dixon

We’re excited to share that Redemption Community Church will be launching this April. This is the first church plant to launch since the establishment of the Church Planting Department at ACGC. Redemption Community Church is a replant in Clayton, N.C. and is a collaborative effort between Northside Community Church, the Eastern North Carolina Advent Christian Conference and the Southern Advent Christian Association.

Mt. Pleasant Advent Christian Church ceased operations on December 31, 2023, and has entrusted the building and property to the ENC Conference. The church building is undergoing significant physical improvements in preparation for the launch. Daniel Karl and his family have settled into the Clayton community and have been busy developing relationships, sharing about the replant and meeting with the core team of a dozen families who will be part of the church.

Redemption is committed to:

  • Scripture and teaching biblical truth
  • Compassion for our community and reaching them with the gospel
  • Family and individual discipleship and the church as a family of families
  • Creating a place where people can come as they are

As Redemption prepares to launch, please be in prayer for the following:

  1. Physical improvements taking place on the church grounds
  2. Unity and vision for the core team
  3. Engagement opportunities with the community
