Canyon Creek Bible Fellowship, located in Colton, OR 97017 is seeking a part time (20 hours per week) Advent Christian pastor. We are searching for a bi-vocational or semi-retired pastor with a servant’s heart, who truly cares for the congregation, and our community at large. Our church is a family and community-oriented church, with a multi-level outreach. We are an open, loving church family ready to welcome a new pastor. A recently remodeled parsonage, with some utilities being included (water garbage, basic telephone, basic internet) along with a monthly salary of $1700 – $2000, depending on additional opportunities/duties. The parsonage is 3 bedrooms, 2 bath with full basement, one car garage.
CCBF is located in a rural area nestled amidst a forest/agricultural setting in the foothills of the Cascades. Within short driving distance, you will find mountains, the Pacific Ocean, and the high desert. There are many opportunities for outdoor activities, with ideal areas for hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking. Western Oregon has a four-season climate pattern featuring mild weather throughout the year.
Colton is a small community, with several “old families” which gives it the close knit, hometown feeling. It is situated between Portland and Salem. Portland offers great cultural and sporting events, while Salem is the State capitol. Smaller, nearby towns offer easy access for shopping. There are many opportunities to be involved volunteering in the community.

The needs of ministry are varied as the community is diverse, from military to retired couples and all points in between. The group is small so this would be almost a missionary endeavor. The present pastor would remain as a supporting part of the team for a short season.
