Mark Woolfington Takes on New Role at Aurora University

ILLINOIS – Aurora University Chaplain Mark Woolfington will join the Department of History, Philosophy and Religion as Assistant Professor of Religion in August. In addition to his duties as university chaplain, Mark will teach the “Discover What Matters” course, which is required for all first-year students. In the course, students begin to explore their strengths, interests and values as they consider their calling in life. Students are also introduced to campus resources designed to help them succeed in their studies and beyond.

Mark has served as university chaplain since 2015, while also leading the Advent Christian Church of the Highlands in La Grange, Illinois.
