MEXICO – The Mexican Conference church, Torre de Salvación (Tower of Salvation), recently celebrated their 15-year anniversary in the community of Ejido Zorillo, located south of Ensenada. It began when Pastor Jaime Sandoval and his wife, Teresa, felt the call to leave their home church and begin a church plant. They purchased a lot behind a cousin’s house and began outside services. Since then, they’ve started a feeding program for the children and others in need and two training programs. One training program is centered on discipleship within the church body, and the other training program is focused toward the local community. Both programs were able to accomplish their intended goals. Pastor Jaime passed away last year, and yet still the church has continued to serve the Lord and the community with new leadership – Pastor Ildefonso and his family. Let’s celebrate 15 years of ministry with Torre de Salvación, and hold them up in prayer to continue to serve the Lord, his sheep and the ones that need to know him.
