MEXICO – During the first part of July, the Mexican AC Conference held its Youth (Joven) Retreat. The definition of “Joven” is not age exclusive, so you can be a young single professional and still be included in the group. Many of the leaders are more mature members of the group. At this year’s retreat, there were about 100 Jovenes that attended from our 15 conference churches. The conference speakers were Pastor Sammy Landero and his wife Michelle from a large Ensenada area church. They spent the weekend encouraging the youth to stay faithful to God in spite of the culture around them. The retreat was held at the “Tres Cruces” (Three Crosses) campsite in San Antonio de las Minas (Ensenada area).

The next scheduled Mexican Conference event is the Women’s retreat scheduled for the end of September.
