TANZANIA – The story of Lydia, a former witch, continues to glorify the Lord. Her conversion has raised the ire of the remaining members of her coven stirring them to join together in cursing her and even attempting to kill her. The church met together to pray on her behalf and theirs as well. We also asked for our readers to join with us in prayer for the salvation of the other witches. On Saturday, August 7 each of the coven’s remnant came to the church and admitted their defeat to a power far greater than any power bestowed upon them. They surrendered their charms, fetishes and their lives to the God who is above all other gods. The news spread immediately, and the following day, Sunday, August 8, pastors Amos Komanya and Festus Tungaraza left their churches to travel to the Kisessa Advent Christian Church to lay their hands on these new believers in Jesus Christ and to pray for them.

Let’s continue to lift these new believers to the Lord, asking him for a radical change in their lives.
