MOZAMBIQUE – One church leader in Chitui gave land for a well to be drilled, serving the church and the entire village. On July 24, he died. Denominational officers traveled to his funeral to honor him.

On July 29, another well-respected member of Pastor Albano Ussen’s church lost her mother. Again, denominational leaders traveled to attend the ceremony.

On August 1, we received news that Pastor Ojesi Faera of Chitui lost his daughter-in-law in the early hours. Once again, Mozambique pastors are traveling to share in their brother’s grief.

Let’s thank God for a close-knit family of faith while we also pray for a much-needed healing of spirits.
