New Church Begins in Malawi

MALAWI – Laymen at the Nkuziwaduka Advent Christian Church were aware that there was no church in the small village of Njobvu six kilometers away and felt compelled by the Spirit of God to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the villagers. They walked several times back and forth to the Njobvu, going door-to-door and preaching in the open air to anyone who would listen. After several trips, 21 people had decided to give their lives to Jesus Christ. With great excitement, the conference appointed layman Easter Nzeru to pastor this young flock. Pastor Easter has no formal training, but is armed with the Word of God and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. He brings with him his wife and small son.
