USA - Dowling Park, Fla.

The two WHFMS groups of the Village Church in Dowling Park, Fla. sponsored a World Day of Prayer service and lunch. The program material was developed by the World Day of Prayer Committee of Zimbabwe with the theme “Rise! Take your mat and walk!” Barbara Phipps, WHFMS Council President, led the service with music by “Grace Notes” and Tracy Nissley, The Village Church Minister of Music. Laura Putnam, retired Advent Christian missionary, led in the prayers of thanksgiving and intercession.

In addition to the prayer time for Zimbabwe and other World Day of Prayer requests, a special time of prayer was held for each of the Advent Christian mission fields utilizing the 2020 Prayer Guide developed by ACGC’s Department of International Missions. The table decorations included a map of Africa with the AC Mission Fields identified and the country’s flag on each map. There were several retired AC missionaries in attendance.

Zimbabwean food was served to the approximately 60 people.

Papua New Guinea - Agape Care and Ministry

Mondo Karmar writes:

“Launching out to Bulolo Care Center for a bigger feeding and mini crusade program on February 28. This is another place where we would like to put up another tent [place of worship] for ACM.

The theme for this gathering was ‘Signs of the end times and second coming of our King and Lord.’ It’s time our neighbors must know the signs of the end times and the second coming of our Lord Christ Jesus.”
