India – Bihar Mission
The major project for the Bihar Mission right now is construction of the new buildings for St. Xavier’s School. Due to generous donations and hard work, construction continues to make steady progress. Below are two recent photos of the project, showing that the large buildings are taking shape.
Malawi and Mozambique
Mozambique is under a severe lockdown. Schools remain closed until the end of June. Churches have not been allowed to meet together over this time. Without the reassuring presence of internet and the opportunities for interaction it affords, the fellowships suffer. In Malawi, the churches are permitted to assemble as long as they observe social distances and wear facemasks. Some of the pastors from Mozambique have created a solution to their own fellowship needs: cross the nearby border into Malawi and fellowship with our churches there.
Nigeria
We learned last week that some social restrictions have been lifted, allowing our churches in Uyo State to open their doors as of June 7. They are rejoicing for the opportunity to gather in worship again.
